Acceptance of these terms

By accessing purelabbioscience.com or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or purchase our products. These terms form a binding agreement between you and optml.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to purchase research materials in your jurisdiction. By ordering, you represent that you are a qualified researcher, hobbyist or institution acquiring these materials for genuine research purposes only, and that you are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to you.

Research use only

This is the most important term on this page. All products supplied by OPTML are intended strictly for laboratory and research use only. You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• The products are not drugs, medicines, supplements, food, cosmetics or medical devices.
• They are not for human or veterinary use, ingestion, injection, application, diagnosis or treatment of any kind.
• Nothing on this site is medical advice or a claim that any product is safe or effective for any purpose in humans or animals.
• You will handle, store and dispose of the materials safely and lawfully, using appropriate laboratory practice.

You assume full responsibility for the use of any product you purchase, and you agree to indemnify OPTML against any claim arising from misuse.

Orders, pricing & payment

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and may change without notice. We take care to describe products accurately, but we do not warrant that all content is error-free. We may refuse, cancel or limit any order — including where we suspect a product is intended for a prohibited use — and will refund payment where an order is cancelled by us. Title and risk pass to you on delivery.

Content & intellectual property

The OPTML name, logo, site design, copy, photography and certificates are our property or licensed to us, and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without our written permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial reference.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OPTML is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or products, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order. We'll always show a “last updated” date at the top.
